of Dental Laboratory Technology.
All courses are accredited with The National Board of Certification in Dental Technology.
DLT Training & Education trains mid-career technicians who want a full understanding of dental anatomy and physiology in digital and analog technologies.
Education in dental tech fundamentals offers all technicians the ability to fully understand their work before, during, and after task performance.
No matter where you find yourself in your career, DLT Training can help take any dental professional to the next level with:
DLT Training supports PTC Dental fundamentals skill training courses:
A lab that already invested in these PTC resources and needs to review or offer PTC Fundamentals to newer employees, is the lab that most benefits from our services.
We embrace the PTC goal of simplifying dental fundamentals and encourage labs to use their PTC resources . Each course delivers a minimum of eight hours of remote training through Microsoft Teams. The two hour sessions are scheduled to your convenience. Some labs prefer four days in a row while others schedule once a week. DLT is available to train Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm CST, and Saturdays 9:00am to 11:00am CST... whatever is most convenient for you.
We can train a single technician or up to four students at the same time. This is ideal for new technicians and experienced technicians to learn the same material, speak the same language, and use the same learning resources for a mutual understanding among co-workers and consistency in production.
This course does exactly as it says. It prepares technicians for the CDT Comprehensive and Specialty Exams.
Our curriculum is based off The NADL study plan and their recommended study material.
DLT Training did the overwhelming task of data acquisition and research for mid career technicians seeking certification. The CDT Candidate can now use this fully prepared curriculum to help them prepare for a career milestone. The course is complete with e-books, review questions, support tutorials, and a final practice written exam to asses their knowledge before applying for the National Exam.
We organize study groups to meet like a book club. This eight-part curriculum connects remotely through Microsoft Teams once a month for two hours. This allows technicians from all over to prepare for the comprehensive exam, regardless of their specialty.
At registration, the CDT Candidate can begin preparing immediately. An email is sent with PART ONE study materials, glossary of prosthodontic terms, review questionnaire, and a schedule with syllabus indicating the subjects and dates to connect to the class.
During each session the class discusses the review questionnaire and makes reference to their study material.
After class, students receive an email with the next book in the study plan and the format repeats itself.
By the end of the eight-part course, DLT Training issues a voluntary practice CDT Written Exam for each candidate to evaluate their proficiency and discover areas that require more study before committing to the National Exam.
